BHRBOA mission is to facilitate the full potential of Bangladesh's hotel and tourism Industry by raising concerted voice to make conductive environment for the growth of this sector. BHRBOA aims at serving its members by fulfilling their needs and building partnerships in a socially responsible and sustainable business scenario.
Our Vision
BHRBOA envisions itself to become the national driving force to achieve world-class Vibrant Bar and Pub industry with the private sector leadership, which will certainly contribute towards achieving the business goals of member organization and boost the economic growth of Bangladesh by increasing state of the art value added facilities for tourist and local elites.
Objectives of BHRBOA
- To secure for the Industry its due place in Bangladesh's economy, and highlight its crucial role in the service of tourism industry.
- To help raise the standards, growth, efficiency and an image of the the Hotels, Restaurant, Bar, Clubs and Pubs in Bangladesh.
- To plan, promote and protect by lawful means, the interests of the Hotels, Restaurant, Bar, Clubs and Pubs (hereinafter called the "Industry").
- To aim for globalization of the Industry and its integration with the world economy in conformity with the national policies
- To take up, consider and discuss issues of national and international importance affecting the Industry.
- To communicate with the Federation (FBCCI), Industrial Associations, Chambers of Commerce and other commercial, industrial or business apex bodies, within and outside Bangladesh and to concentrate on collection and sharing of vital information for promotion and development of the sector.
- To give high priority to activities designed to bring about improvement in the performance of Industry such as Energy Conservation, R&D, Export, Technology Transfer and Development, Human Resources Development, Quality, Productivity as per international standard etc.

Dear Honourable Members and Visitors,
Welcome you to the BHRBOA website.
Bangladesh is a growing country with huge potentials to be one of the roaring south east Asian Tiger for her economic growth in recent years. Bangladesh has already achieved Millennium Development Goal (MDG) and duly recon by the International bodies including UN bodies. The Government of the People’’s Republic of Bangladesh heading towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goal(SDG) with a vision to improve the facilities and standard in every sector to keep pace with the developed nations. Bangladesh already a big player in the RMG Sector where huge foreign nationals are working in Bangladesh. Besides substantial number of foreigners are living in Bangladesh in connection with the mega projects like bridge, metro rails, flyovers, elevated express way, upcoming subways etc. To ensure earning of foreign currency from the expatriates working in Bangladesh and the visiting tourists, enhancement of Liquor bar, pubs, private clubs is an urge for attracting the people to visit Bangladesh and ensure their comfort and freedom of regular habits. To ensure a balanced atmosphere keeping in line with social values of Bangladesh and also the need of international standard clients BHRBOA members are striving since long to contribute in the sector. Due to complicated rules and regulations most of the time our member units are being deprived of facilities and at times being humiliated by agencies due to lack of unity among the members of the sector.
Realizing the above fact we the Owners’ of Hotel, Restaurant, Club, Bar and Pub united together and formed this Bangladesh Hotel Restaurant & Bar Owners’ Association in the Year 2021. At present our total number of members over 30 and many more are yet to be member of this elite association.
Since the establishment our founding Executive Committee Members have lots of contribution towards making the association success with their physical appearance and financial assistance. Now Association have its own rented office in a commercial building at Gulshan Dhaka. Association Secretariat is ready to provide any kind of assistance to the members round the clock including the existing members, aspirant future members and those who all are new in this sector.
Association is providing the “MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE” to the members for obtaining IRC certificate within few hours of application.
Nevertheless, it is my immense pleasure to mention that the recent “Alcohol Bidhimala-2022” published in February 2022 and inclusion of a separate clause for non star hotel, restaurant and Bar for import of Foreign Alcohol and Alcoholic Beverages in the recently published “IMPORT POLICY-2021-2024 are the worth mentioning achievement of BHRBOA negotiation at the Ministry level for eliminating the barriers for smooth functioning of the business of the member units.
I will urge all the hotels, restaurants, Clubs, Bars and Pubs to join our team by registering their company with this association and make our platform more stronger to bargain with the government agencies and authorities to attain our lawful services, support and recognitions.
